You will need patience, dedication and perhaps even a little luck. Give yourself a chance by taking the right steps to get ahead. 1. Try out for "American Idol" This may be the long shot, but others have tried and succeeded, so why not you? Find out when the show is going on the road to audition talent, and arrive plenty early. 2. Try a Talent Agency Seek out talent agencies or a singing agent, and find out which ones are willing to take a look at new talent. Talent Box provides an online resource with a wide variety of agents seeking musically qualified new artists. 3.Try acting and singing Try acting and singing in new media formats, such as Youtube. To stand out, you must be creative in these videos. Get friends together to create a web series to showcase your talent 4. make sure you love singing and acting as an art form, and that you are not solely in it for the fame and money. 5. • PA equipment and performance

As with getting hold of the best quality backing tracks - having a good pa system is also a must. If there is a weakness in any part of your pa system, mic, amplifier, mixer, reverb/delay unit, leads, speakers - then that weakness will glaringly show through in your performance. Try and make sure that there are No weaknesses in any part of your pa system, as these tools of your performance are an extension of you and the performance you put across to your audience. • Quality backing tracks are a must!

When choosing your backing tracks always remember that the music you choose makes up 50% of the sound of your show. This means that if the quality of the backing tracks you are using are not up to the mark, they will drag your own performance quality down too. So when choosing your backing tracks always strive to get the best quality you can get, this will pay dividends when it comes to performance time, as with a good quality selection of tracks you then have a good base to provide a top quality performance to your audience! Andys Tracks has some of the best quality tracks in the business http://andys-backing-tracks.webs.com/apps/blog/ www.andys-backing-tracks.webs.com
